Smells like: car exhaust, roasting chestnuts on hot dog stands, drifting aromas of various ethnic restaurants mixing and mingling.
Reminds me of: Toronto but busier
Atmosphere: frantic, perfect chaos.

Isola Trattoria in the Mondrian Soho, Eataly, Free People by Rockafeller Center, Lucky Strike Soho, The Highline, Todd English Food Hall, one of the many Le Pain Quotidien scattered around the city, Chelsea Market (particularly The Filling Station - try the black truffle salt... to die for!)
