Six Lifestyle Bloggers To Follow Right Now

1. Gal Meets Glam (Julia Engel)

Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam lives in a world of champagne picnics, Kanye-standard floral backdrops and Millennial pink terra cotta alleyways. Not to mention, her hair is fresh-blowout perfection in every.single.post. She is basically a Disney princess in an Anthropologie ad. Engel started GMG while in university with her boyfriend (now husband), Thomas. To be frank, Thomas is the Instagram husband of any blogger’s dreams. His genius photography skills truly set this blog apart. No guarantees you won’t be ordering a Draper James dress and drinking sweet tea after reading her blog, chalk-full of southern charm.

2. The Londoner (Rose Thomas)

Speaking of Disney princesses and perfect hair, this list would be remiss if it did not include UK-based blogger and bestie of Julia Engel, Rose Thomas of The Londoner. Made famous by Jessica Simpson’s declaration of love for Thomas’ Slutty Brownie recipe (which are delicious, I may add), you can expect a lot of great recipes, midi dresses, gingham and pink-washed photography.

3. Tuula Vintage (Jessica Stein)

Tuula Vintage (pronounced “chuula”) is the digital collection of blogger Jessica Stein’s passport stamps. The Australia native, and global citizen, takes her readers on journeys around the world, documenting her bohemian style and adventures along the way.  With over 2.6 million Instagram followers and a new baby to boot, Stein is on top of the world.

4. The Blonde Salad (Chiara Ferragni)

Chiara Ferragni is the rock and roll wild child chick of this list. Recently engaged to Italian rapper Fedez, this blogger was once a law school graduate turned fashion dynamo. She is a fixture on international newsstands, appearing on front-covers and sitting front row at fashion weeks regularly. What sets Ferragni apart is her pop-art-esque style and kick-ass, break-the-rules-with-a-smile-on vibes. If you are looking for a blogger who puts the fun in fashion, Ferragni is your gal. No sunflower field photoshoots here.

5. Cupcakes & Cashmere (Emily Schuman)

Emily Schuman of Cupcakes & Cashmere is one of my favourite blogs to follow simply because she is so down to earth. As a mom, author, designer and full-time blogger, Schuman has a lot on her plate. This makes her blog a joy to read because her advice is always practical, her style is simple yet chic, and her life is relatable. With the brand-colour pink running through the site and an endlessly positive California girl mentality, I find myself turning to Cupcakes & Cashmere if my mood needs a boost or I am looking for cheery decor-inspo.

6. Gary Pepper Girl (Nicole Warne)

Gary Pepper Girl is your sleek and modern lifestyle blog, perfect for those who prefer structural looks, amazing photography and cityscapes. Formerly of Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar, Nicole Warne parlayed her fashion insider knowledge from the publishing world to the blogosphere in 2009. Warne is Australian but spends a lot of time in Europe for work and it is fascinating to see how different cities influence her wardrobe choices.
