Travel Log: Calabria, Italy

First glance: orange roofs; olive trees; mountainous; clothes hanging on clothes lines; plastered walls; shutters built in as windows; tanned Italians 

Smells like: figs, oranges, lavender, onion, oregano, fresh baked bread 

Reminds me of: West Virginia mountains, Quebec City buildings

Atmosphere: lazy dog days of summer with a hint of an Italian wedding in the small towns
